CORRECTION

I have been informed that the $7.00 Fee at the Stratham Hill Show is for Pre-registration only and a $10.00 fee on the day of the show. This is still cheaper than Wheels on the Waterfront in Bangor and the recent OOB show.

Thanks Steve

So It Really Matters Or Does It

As we all sit back and wonder where the season went, we realize it went, plain and simple. It's not really over until we say its over, as there is no Overseer that bangs a drum and says put your car away.

This weekend we get a Show in Winterport on Saturday and a Show in New Hampshire.

The Winterport Show, Shine and Drag has been reported as being worth the effort to get there and if the weather cooperates it promises to be another great day. Registration 8-11a, $5 per show car. Judging 9-12. Awards at 2p. Racing all day. Many classes of cars. Rain Date October 9th. FMI contact Bob Reynolds at (207)223-5592.

Now over in the Sales Tax Free Zone we have the Stratham Hill Car Show. Put on the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 185 this has also been reported as a good show. With 27 classes that include Tuners and 2 classes labeled as "Pure Stock" and a $7.00 entry fee it to could be worth the trip to Stratham. Reportedly there is a group leaving from the Charlie Beigg's Parking Lot in Windham at 6:30am for the trip down.

If your vehicle was special enough to get picked for the Super Wheels Showdown congratulations and have fun in Boston this weekend. Maine will be well represented with driven vehicles hopefully showing up the fleet of Trailer Queens that were picked elsewhere.

A N F B

The Frozen Raisins are back and still not thawed out.

Today was Durham, the 17th edition of the Athletic Boosters Car Show put on by the Yankee Cruisers. With the help of a few other clubs, they pulled off a good show. Stan and Cheryl and the Merrill Family did a good job getting it on the the new field, with Black Pavement being the new Green Grass.

Problems? Why yes.

The incident at the gate was unfortunate and can be summed up as this. Principles and integrity are worth more than any $15.00 Cheap Ass Trophy. The guys Classing Cars are not perfect and do make mistakes. They should still get the backing of the organizer, verbatim. A N F B are not just letters on a hat or jacket. They stand for Absolutely No Fucking Bullshit and they were practiced today, PERFECTLY.

The DJ needs to be quiet and play Music. The ratio of music played verses the amount gums flapped would be good odds at a horse race. Way to many songs were interrupted with injections of prattle on state laws that couldn't be enforced.

If you needed the bathroom you needed a reservation or a 5 gallon bucket. Luckily the trees needed watering. Note to self, rent out hospital urinals next year.

Not enough help was a major factor with only one person at the registration table until just after 8am. Not enough people parking cars. Not enough Sunshine.

Things they had too much of, can start with too many solicitors. It's bad enough to solicit votes for your car but to enlist the little kids was over the line. I wouldn't vote for a politician that asks for my vote and it ain't gonna happen for you, not now or in the future.

Less classes and splitting the ballot would be a help to everyone and life goes on, we saw that it worked at Car Show 2010 on Saturday. Thinking that trying to please the masses is correct is in fact wrong ways thinking. Keep it as simple as possible and lets back off on the giveaways. Going to stand in line for the bathroom when it started and seeing it only halfway done 30 minutes later when I returned, made me think I was trapped in some sick version of Ground Hog Day. By the way hearing, that voice screech 837 for the 100,975,436 time is grounds for a psychological examination according to the State.

Now I know by the time some people get to this point they are thinking that I didn't like the show. I did, I had Fun, it was a good show. Some of this was out of the hands of the Yankee Cruisers, Some of it wasn't.

Tough day, Good Job.

And Now For......Something.......

What the hell is up with this weather. For the past week I thought my Testiticles were frozen raisins and today I get swamp ass. Talcum powder or thermal underwear, not both, thank you very much.

Car Show 2010 was a blast to see and participate in. For an "Under New Management" Car Show, it was well thought out and went rather smoothly from what I can tell. Just because Mr. Matthews is a close friend, I am not sugar coating this in the least. In fact I may be a bit to harsh in my pointing out the few flaws that I saw and the few that were pointed out to me.

The classes were good and some work is needed on a couple, but all in all they seemed appropriate. Heard a few Complaints on the Tri -Five Class but nothing a swift kick in the ass wouldn't have cured. Egos and Arrogance were hand in hand on some things but were handled with more aplomb than I could muster on a good day. Registration went smoothly but seemed a bit crowded when a couple of big fellas were in line. My size or bigger.

Balloting was good, nicely broken up and votes were counted quickly. The usual suspects bitched and moaned about it and quickly realized it could be the reason they didn't get an award (as usual) during the Award ceremony. Wah! Maybe if more shows took to the split system there would less buddy voting.

The best thing was the fact that the weather provided a great day. The Landing and Charlie Beigg's provided us with a great venue. Ken Matthews and the All Clubs Crew did a fine job. The $15.00 Cheap Ass Trophies were nowhere to be seen and tomorrow is another day.

Good Job.

What Happened???

The season is drawing to a close. This weekend is slated to be a busy weekend with a Saturday Show and a Sunday Show within 30 miles of each other.

The Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce show is slated to take place on Saturday the 25th. The Autumn Gold Show has been a good show in the past and for the area is a fine way to close out a short season. At $5.00 a car it proves that some Chamber of Commerce Shows are way over priced. this is not one of them. Call 207-667-8515 For More Info.

The Show I think that we all have been waiting for is Car Show 2010. Formerly held at the Windham Wal-Mart it is not the old Wal-Mart Show. After taking a year off, this Show has revamped classes and a new venue. Having moved to the Parking lots ( yes lots ) of the Landing Restaurant and Charlie Beigg's Dining & Spirits in Windham, who also are the major sponsors, will provide us with great parking and ample room to make this a great day. Scheduled for Saturday the 25th weather is not a factor as this is a rain or shine show. Besides, is another show providing such classes as British All and Monte Carlo All.

On Sunday is the 17th Annual Durham Car, Truck and Bike Show hosted by the Yankee Cruisers. With the weather putting a damper on last years show it looks like it might be better this year. Classes are abundant, give aways more so and the grounds much improved. With Archie, Stan, Cheryl and the rest of the Yankee Cruisers at the helm this is always a good time and a great show.

Only a few left after these so lets have some fun.

9/19/10

And Now For...

I really do read other stuff and write about what I know of and use the facts as they are presented. The Fact is I wasn't anywhere near this State. I was 2 States over in Vermont with some real good friends having a great time at the NSRA N/E Nationals Plus.

An experience like this is completely different from anything around here with prizes and vendors and drawings all weekend. Starting on a Thursday evening that was damp and dreary the weekend got cranked up on Friday and blasted its way into the record books with 1664 vehicles that were at least 30 years old. Lasting 3 days it is more of a Car Show binge than an event.

Anybody that has never been to a NSRA event can tell you that it is an eye opening experience on the grounds during the day and a Cruise Night like no other in the evening as most if not all the motels have some cars parked in its parking lot.

OOB and Standish really didn't matter. To some maybe it did and I don't mean to sound cavalier but you have got experience a Real Show and get to meet some real good folks who don't need the glory of a Trophy to have a good time. 1664 Vehicles came in and only 24 went out with an award. Ask around, you may find one or two of the locals that were there and at least one that was rewarded.

See Ya.

URGENT MESSAGE FROM SEMA

EPA Threatens to Raise Ethanol Content in Gasoline

Under pressure from ethanol producers to raise the ethanol content in gasoline, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) could issue a decision later this month allowing the use of E15 in late-model cars. It could permit the use in other cars at a later date. The SEMA Action Network (SAN) opposes the shift from E10 to E15 due to concerns that the additional content will harm automobiles of all ages, including special interest collector and historic vehicles.

To date, there is a lack of conclusive information regarding E15’s effect on engines of different model years. In addition to the potential harm of E15 on engine components, the EPA has no procedure in place to ensure misfueling does not occur or any plan for ensuring regular gasoline continues to be available for older vehicles. The SAN’s concerns are shared by a number of other industry organizations.

We Urge You to Ask President Obama (Contact Information Below) to Stop the EPA from Raising the Ethanol Content in Gasoline

Dear Mr. President:

I strongly urge you to stop the Environmental Protection Agency from raising the amount of ethanol in gasoline from today’s 10 percent (E10) to 15 percent (E15) – a 50 percent increase.

The EPA is under pressure from some corporate ethanol supporters to raise the rates in order to boost sales. However, scientific studies have not yet been completed on concerns that the added content could harm auto parts of all ages.

When ethanol levels are raised, engines react differently and in a potentially dangerous way. Ethanol causes engines to burn hotter which could lead to premature engine and equipment failure. For newer cars, the “check engine” light may appear unnecessarily or too late to avoid costly repairs.

Ethanol also increases water formation in the fuel system, especially when the vehicle sits over a period of time. Under these conditions, formic acid is created which corrodes metals, plastics and rubber. This can lead to engine/parts failures and, potentially, safety hazards.

If the EPA approves E15, it will state that the increased ethanol is only for recent model cars. However, once a new fuel mix enters the gasoline supply system, it will inevitably end up in the wrong engines.

Gasoline without any ethanol may simply disappear from the marketplace for millions of Americans with older cars or special interest collector and historic vehicles. E10 has already made this a reality in many areas of the country.

The EPA should wait until all of the scientific research is complete. There is no need for a rush to judgment.

DON’T DELAY! Please contact President Obama at
http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact

Please e-mail a copy of your letter to Steve McDonald at stevem@sema.org. Thank you for your assistance.

Weekend Report

So here it is Wednesday and everybody is ready for the weekend already.

The OOB Money for Nothing Tour is Friday and Saturday with the overabundance of Massholevanians and other Gold Chain swingers from away. Standish Kiwanis are going to put on a cold version of the Sand in Your Shorts routine on the 18th which could give some a better Show than OOB.

Also up is a little show up in Hartland/St.Albans on Saturday that might be worth a second look, with 10 classes and Best of Show. There is the Sweetster Home Fun Day and Car Show at Cooks Corner. I don't have any details on this one so check the Road Scholars Site for contact info.

Many out of State events are on the schedule including the Northeast Nationals in Burlington. Sponsored by the NSRA and the areas Rod Clubs this is always the best bang for your buck. The big change this year is that All NSRA events allow vehicle that are 30 years old or older. It ain't just about Street Rods at the events its about the Hobby.

Where ever you go, have fun. Whatever you do, have fun.

See Ya

Brewer

As getting up early is becoming more of a chore than usual it did not help that it was still the crack of dark and the daylight was taking its sweet ass time about becoming viable.

On the road by 6, in Brewer, on site by 8:10, showed the other Maine that we here are true to our word. They in turn are also true to there word and put on a very diverse show.

Benefiting the Boy Scout's, the show was to say the least, geared toward fun with activities like a fan belt toss and other car games going all day. Minimal Classes and about 150 Cars rounded out the Show.

The Awards For 3rd an 2nd were the run of the mill plastic tubes and shiny crap . The 1st Place trophies were all hand made from used car parts and were quite unique as no two were the same.

Good little show with a few quirks. But the fact that the time spent, was fun and eating at Dysart's on the way home was worth every Quirk.

Tour Stop

The season is winding down and that can only mean one thing.

The first stop of the "Money for Nothing Tour" in Bangor, is Saturday the 11th with Wheels on the Waterfront and for a $15.00 you could possibly prepay for your $15.00 Cheap Ass Trophy. This show is put on by a "Tourist Bureau" but is basically the Chamber of Commerce, who seem to want all the commerce. With a great view of the Waterfront, that is about all this show has going for it and your money goes to nothing important.

The following Weekend is the second stop of the "Money for Nothing Tour" in OOB. The price remains the same but view is of the ocean. You will also have the opportunity to meet all the great Gold Chain Swinging Meat Puppet Masters from Massholevania and beyond.

Meanwhile here in the real world of economic feasibility we have an All Mopar Show in Augusta the 11th, A Rockin the Dog House in Houlton, again the 11th with a smattering of out of state shows that could be worth the trip.

On the 12th is another series of shows in the State with the Windham Athletic Boosters making a stab at getting it right with the Show at the High School. Not real good reviews from the past but may be worth another look because it can only get better.

In New Hampshire we have Settlers Green in North Conway and all the Shopping outlets that you could dream of. This Show has made adjustments to its classes and as always should pull a good crowd of cars from Maine.

Brewer also does a little Car Show for the Boy Scouts at the Brewer Auditorium. This one usually gets overlooked because of "Wheels on the Waterfront" but is the destination of choice for those that wish to cheer the underdog.

Could Be A Fun Weekend. Details are listed along with out of State Shows at http://roadscholars.webs.com

TOYS FOR TOTS

Well the 4th Annual Toy Run is in the books and what a turnout. I didn't count, but it had to be as many vehicles as last year. The toys were brought out and many brought more than one. Media coverage of the event was as always more than appreciated and well done with its choice of interviewees. I think some enjoy the time in front of a camera.

Stan and especially Cheryl get the big WELL DONE for putting this on the schedule again this year. To all the individuals and clubs that stepped up to make it happen the way it should. Good Job.

Discussion

Yesterday was damn near perfect, with great weather, good cars nice cruise and a BBQ. We at one point were worried about the turnout but that was a none factor upon arrival. Thanks to Tim and Sue Wallace for being great hosts as usual.

During the day, a discussion Broke out about the different takes on the Pathways Vineyard Church Show and how a group of participants feel they were cheated from getting a trophy.

This stems from the fact that the posted cut-off time was extended and not adhered to, as was written on the flier. True enough. Also brought up was the fact that some if not all of these cars were given awards. True enough.

What wasn't mentioned is the fact that the miss-classed vehicles, some of which did get there on time, were also awarded trophies or that gaps in parking in certain classes were done on purpose to keep the over preened egos of the participants from spilling over into ground water causing an EPA alert.

The Fact is that Vineyard is running the show and can make any changes they wish as they have in years past with classes being added in the last minute etc. As these cars were allowed to register after the posted cut-off time should they have been denied to be fairly judged by the same people who judged the rest of that class or should it have been stated that we will take your money and give you nothing in return, not even a fair shake.

Vineyard Show Part 2 A Different Take

This was sent via e-mail to myself and HotKarz and has been posted by Both Blogs. This commentary is worthy of its own post rather than a Comment box.

Thank You Brianna

Hi,

First off I want to say that the show was a great show. The food was really good and very reasonably priced. Restrooms were open in the school with a convenient location. The judges were very fair and took the time to look over the vehicles completely. I was impressed.

However, there was one major issue I, along with many others noticed. The flier on the event specifically stated rain or shine event. On the same flier, it says that the registration is between 8am and 10am. I drove about 45 minutes from my home in Portland to attend this event. I left at about 7 this morning in order to arrive at the show by 8am to ensure I had plenty of time to get to the show and CLEAN my car due to wet roads. I got to the show and yes my car was soaked, dirty, and also placed on the mud at the show, no big deal; I cleaned it. My dispute, along with many others was after seeing vehicles enter after 11am, which was after the judges began to jugde the vehicles. In my class alone, the judges started on my car and were just finshing up after a great inspection of my vehicle, moving on to the next. Just then two vehicles came in one right after the next and entered in the 90's and up class, and to my utmost surprise were able to register to be judged. Not to mention one vehicle didn't have an open hood or trunk. The other three of us were there all day and cleaned to prepare for judging. Myself and a few other participants brought it to the attention of the car show organizers bringing the flier for proof. The response we recieved was them saying that they "extended" the registration due to the weather. I responded saying I understand that but the flier specifically states rain or shine. I took my chances driving to the show with wet roads and the chance of rain along the way, but knew registration ended at 10 and wanted time to clean my car before judging. These same two vehicles took first and second place in the class and did not need to clean their vehicles. By the time they left for the show, the streets were dry and there was nothing to clean. If I had known that I would have waited until streets were dry as well so I didn't have to do the work at the show, but that is not why I go to shows. I go to shows for my interests and in order to deserve a trophy I clean my vehicle, as many others do and will drive to the show in rain or shine.

I am not one to start problems at the shows, I just feel cheated and it was unfair for these late entrants to enter way after registration was supposed to end. I hope that this concern reaches the organizers for a possible change in the future because otherwise it was a great show.

-Brianna DiDonato

Vineyard Show

10 minutes from the Show and I roll in at 9am to see one Car in my Class. I registered as always but today knowing it was a judged show and having seen an unmarked car judged at Belgrade I decided to keep the Show Card in the window.

Earl was a bust and the day turned from clammy to bearable to down right great. The Church put on another great show and did a good job again this year both at the gate and at the tables. The turn out was a bit lower much to the chagrin of the organizers but quality vehicles were in attendance.

After the 10am registration closure was postponed to allow a bigger count of attendees , which made sense from the standpoint of the organizers as this was a fundraiser. Some participants took exception to this and voiced their concerns to them and it was duly noted.

The Judges were as good as could be expected without payment and ALL cars were judged in the same manner without exception. Including mine. Some felt cheated by the late arrivals and rightfully so. However "They" Can Not say that these late arrivals didn't deserve to be judged or that the late arrivals were not deserving of being awarded a trophy if they were better vehicles than the rest of the class. This was a Judged Show. If the late arrivals got trophies at a participant vote show then we would know the fix was in. But that was not the case.

As the day wore on more Street Rods were entered and judged and I should have done what I have done all year and thrown my card in the back seat but didn't. Somehow the judge in my class either through hysterical blindness or total mental ineptitude picked my car for 1st place.

After being awarded my own 1st Place $15.00 Cheap Ass Trophy, I feel the organizers were cheated themselves by being given a $5.00 Cheap Ass Trophy instead and being told it was a $15.00 Cheap Ass Trophy by their supplier.

Thanks to all for making it a great day. Good Job to the Pathways Vineyard Crew.

A Report From... The Response Part 2

And more.

Hi Lorna,

First off let me just say that I know what it takes to put on a car show. My Husband and I have helped with many shows over the years. The time you take to get all that is needed and the rounding up of volunteers and getting sponsors, ect. is a very stressful and time consuming job. Than only to have people back out is even worse.

Yes many people were very happy with the dinner . I'm just saying what I had been told and heard myself and thought of it myself, when the dinner was going on.

I realize the Judging was done with the points system. That still does not explain how a car can win 1st place when the trunk or hood were not up and the driver or someone else attending the car were not even there to open them. It not only happened in my class but a couple of others.
Split Balloting is when you take all the classes and divide them up into groups. Say you have 26 classes A-Z. you take and split them into say A-G. H-M, N-S, T-Z. As people register you pass the ballots out so that everyone does not have the same ballot and there is hardly any chance of Block voting or the "Good old boy network" kicking in. Most people that I know really like it. We did it at the show we helped with and many others have done the same thing. If you do not have one there is a book about putting on a car show. You can go to www.hotkarz.com and ask Bill to send you one, he would be glad to. I do believe they are free and it tells you just about everything you need to know. Including the split ballot process.

As far as the Goody bags and Ribbons. There were many people that went to get one and were told that they were only for the Pre-registered participants. Nothing was ever said after that about extras that I know of. Ribbons may have been passed out but not everyone got one or even knew there were some.

As far as the entrance fee, Most shows only charge $5.00 Except for a couple and they charged $10.00 but you got a show t-shirt with your entry. Now though, it is considered a donation because our glorious government has decided that if you charge a "FEE" they are going to tax you for it. So now most shows ask for a "Donation". I had no beefs with the awards. I thought they were really unique. I liked them. In fact I got one. It is proudly displayed with the rest of my trophies.

I hope I have explained myself for you and helped you to understand a little more of what I was talking about. This is the First year I have had my Own car to enter, so I am learning things too. If you or someone else still have them and it is not to much trouble, could you get a copy of the judge sheet for my car and maybe get it to me, so I can learn what I need to improve. I would really appreciate it. I had the 1968 Black Mustang Convertible with the purple top, my number was 6. She has just come out of a 3 1/2 year restoration. She has only been on the road for 7 weeks. She is a Stock Matching Numbers Car, except for the purple. She has already in that short time gotten, 1 Best of Show, 1 Best Ford, 4 -1st places, 5- 2Nd's and a 3rd place.
In closing I just want to say I'm do not mean to offend anyone, I was only voicing what I had seen myself or heard from others. Again I know what goes into putting one of these on it's not easy and I also realize it is all Volunteer.
Thank-you for your time and your quick response.

Connie Peacock

A Report From... The Response Part 1

This is the response from Farmington

Hi Connie - I hope to go over your comments and let me first say that I am glad you have shared these with me. It is our goal to make this event something that you (as car show participants) will enjoy and consider worth your while to attend.

A local car show participant contacted me and told me that what car show folks really like for food is a chicken BBQ. So - we decided to do it and advertised it with the event. I had contacted the local fire dept. to set it up, as well as other caterers, but no one wanted to do it. We ended up purchasing all of the materials and my brother sat in the hot sun all day cooking it - he is not part of the event committee, but volunteered to help me out. His wife and my mother and two of their friends also pitched in to set up and serve everything as they knew we were short-handed of volunteers yesterday.

I tried to get regular food vendors but everyone was committed that weekend to other events (fairs, etc.) so I had no choice but to at least do the BBQ. I had some who loved it and complimented on the food, and others who didn't care for it. We sold 76 out of 100 dinners.

Judging was done with a point system with the following categories (the same forms were used for all vehicles) ... paint, body and exterior modifications, engine, wheels and tires, interior modifications, glass windows, trunk/hatchback/cabin/or bed, display of vehicle.

It is the first time we had done a point system, the first year we did people's choice and I had many complaints about the 'good ol boy network' for that and felt the most fair way to determine winners was to go with judging and the point system. The judges were independent car people and did not know the participants.

I am open to a different way of doing it - can you explain the participation split ballot idea - is that easy to tally? how does it work? what do I need for forms, etc. If that is an acceptable way to determine winners from show participants - I would prefer to do it (thank you!)

Last year I did up 100 goody bags for 100+ participants and came back with two boxes of them - folks didn't want them and we wasted alot of things (not to mention the time to solicit donations and then put the bags together). So I cut it back to 50 this year. I didn't have 50 pre-registrations, so they were given out until they were gone. It's so hard for me to know how many folks will arrive and who wants what - my apologies you didn't receive one of these.

We did have participant ribbons and I sent one volunteer (my daughter) throughout the grounds to distribute to each participant. I forbid her to touch any of the vehicles (hang the ribbon on something) if there was no one at the vehicle. Some folks stopped by the registration table when they saw the ribbons with other vehicles and picked up one, I should have had the announcer mention they were available several times so everyone had the opportunity to get one - that was my error and I'm sorry you didn't receive one of those either. I would be happy to mail one to you if you like.

I would also like feedback on the fee. Some folks don't mind it, others do. I wonder if it would be better to just put a sign out at the gate that registration is FREE ($5.00 donation suggested) so that everyone has the opportunity to decide if they want to pay something or not? Of course, we would still need registration forms done so we know who's there and how to do awards etc. We rent the fairgrounds, provided free water, purchase all the supplies to run the show (soap, toilet paper, paper towels, signs, food, get tables/chairs, purchase ribbons, advertising, printing costs, and our awards alone are in the $2500-$3000 range but we want something nice that folks will be glad to have and display proudly and so many previous year participants have raved about them). We gave out 77 awards this year.

Our workers that day receive no compensation, it is strictly volunteer. Myself, my assistant, two of my board members, three member volunteers and seven members of my family put the show on yesterday and we really tried to do the best we could. We were short-handed and most of us were doing 2-3 jobs each. Not that it matters, but I am just offering an explanation of the work involved to do this and the fact that we really try (each year) to do better and meet the needs and interest of you, the participant.

I want your feedback and help to do the best we can, so thank you for sharing your thoughts. I can't fix it if I don't know :-) The local car club brought this event to us and asked if we would take it over. We are learning slowly so I appreciate your patience.

If you have the time to respond with some things I've asked - I would very much appreciate it. The committee will have a follow-up meeting soon to address the pro's and con's of the day.

Thank you Connie.

So, How Hot Was It ???

As the day gets warmer and Swamp Ass and all the ways to alleviate it takes over our thought processes, we look to something named Earl for relief. Like that's working.

This weekend is Busy Busy Busy and probably as damp as your Swamp Ass infested shorts at first and panning out to be beauteous in every way.

Saturday looks a bit wet at the beginning of the day but the 3rd Annual Central Maine Car Show at the New Vineyard Church in Lewiston is on. With a great location and some very good Volunteers this could be a very fun day. This show had a breakout year last year and proved to all that it could hack it on the scene.

Sunday looks better and at 1pm it gets real good, with the organizational skills proven at the Father's Day show at Hodgman's Don Morris and a few current and former suspects decided that a Cruise to the Past Gas & Ancient Oil Collection of Tim Wallace was due for a BBQ and tour.
It's a bring your dogs hogs or burger deal and don't forget the drinks, the grills are already there. The convoy leaves at 1pm sharp from the Auburn K-Mart parking lot.

Then we got this thing on Monday that's Called THE ALL CLUBS CRUISE IN AND TOY RUN all for Toys for Tots. Taking place at the Portland Motor Club on Presumpscot St in Portland, this is our version of the Toy Run put on by the United Bikers of Maine. We do it a whole lot nicer and with just as much enthusiasm. Last year we filled a truck in 20 minutes and a trailer in about 2 hours. The admission fee is an unwrapped toy for the USMC TOYS for TOTS. A group is leaving the Auburn Park & Ride at 8:30am and will be taking the back way down.

Busy Busy Busy

And Loving Every Minute
