Not the Diner

Sun Fun and They Finally Got Good Weather

The 3rd Annual Show over at Moody's was to say the least well attended and very enjoyable. Vendors and All were on point and the Dempsey Center  as a charity were more than enough to make it a great day.

A little drama involving a suspected stacking of the ballots for People's Choice seemed to be a non factor except for possibly the Rev. Catcrate who did not get the award. Awww.

All in all an 8 on a 10 scale.

Jim Lamb

Spread da word through out da land we gon do something for big Jim Lamb.
Yep I do Ebonics

Here is what I know. Jim Lamb, who through the years has garnered much adoration for his fine collection of petrol related materials, his firm handshake and just being a real good guy but the Big C has him in its grip and he is in need of a little... no ALOT of cheering up. We are trying to surprise him with a few people of good cheer this Wednesday the 20th of May. We will gather up at Betsy's Corner Store ( Yes I Know it's a Big Apple but it will always be Betsy's Corner Store ) at 5:15 and travel the very short distance to Jim's little chunk of heaven.

Just bring yourself and your car.

Downsized and Bigger

So this is the last we will beat upon the publisher of the Cruise Me. Magazine. They in their infinite wisdom have slapped their respective advertisers in the face by making their rag smaller by at least an inch in height and width. They have also made the print (font) smaller in every aspect and for someone who does wear bi-focals it is hard to read. For those that paid for their event to be published my condolences because you just had unprotected sex and hopefully don't get an std. Those that work at the publishers establishment also get my condolences for being the target of the upcoming firestorm that will inevitably eat you alive. My last statement is this. Fuck 'em, I'm am so done with that.

Now on the upside is the first Show of the season. With a chilly start to the festivities it broke into a great day with well over the usual count and away we went. Crowded, yes as always. Fun, yes per usual. Drama, well it wouldn't be a car show without it now would it. Gratz to all the winners and thank the gods that we are not up to our asses in snow.
