Back away from the trough there chubs, this ain't about food.

As I was cruising some websites looking at Car Show schedules, I found a few that were absolutely filled to capacity. When I panicked and thought I was way behind in my endeavor to keep you all informed through the Road Scholars website, I noticed something peculiar about one site in particular.

This site or organization has been much maligned by many, including this blog. It has tried for years to put out a product that was slick in looks and up to date in information. Their website has become a magnet for the car shows and cruise nights through out Maine. It was this site that gave me a clue that I wasn't way behind but they had become lazy and had the events calendar on Autopilot.

Cruise Maine has an events calendar that is filling itself with cruise nights and shows. These are just a basic repeat of last years schedule that has automatically been moved to the appropriate weekend for this year.

The clue were these magic words on a posted show detail list "Default Administrator". So at this time any and all info from this site is on hold as I feel that until the posted material is verified it is false. A few of the other outlets have freshened their schedules and most have deleted any info left over from last year.

It always seems that Cruise Maine takes 1 step forward and 5 steps back every year.

Wait until they schedule the All Clubs Social, on Daytona 500 Sunday.
