The season is winding down and that can only mean one thing.
The first stop of the "Money for Nothing Tour" in Bangor, is Saturday the 11th with Wheels on the Waterfront and for a $15.00 you could possibly prepay for your $15.00 Cheap Ass Trophy. This show is put on by a "Tourist Bureau" but is basically the Chamber of Commerce, who seem to want all the commerce. With a great view of the Waterfront, that is about all this show has going for it and your money goes to nothing important.
The following Weekend is the second stop of the "Money for Nothing Tour" in OOB. The price remains the same but view is of the ocean. You will also have the opportunity to meet all the great Gold Chain Swinging Meat Puppet Masters from Massholevania and beyond.
Meanwhile here in the real world of economic feasibility we have an All Mopar Show in Augusta the 11th, A Rockin the Dog House in Houlton, again the 11th with a smattering of out of state shows that could be worth the trip.
On the 12th is another series of shows in the State with the Windham Athletic Boosters making a stab at getting it right with the Show at the High School. Not real good reviews from the past but may be worth another look because it can only get better.
In New Hampshire we have Settlers Green in North Conway and all the Shopping outlets that you could dream of. This Show has made adjustments to its classes and as always should pull a good crowd of cars from Maine.
Brewer also does a little Car Show for the Boy Scouts at the Brewer Auditorium. This one usually gets overlooked because of "Wheels on the Waterfront" but is the destination of choice for those that wish to cheer the underdog.
Could Be A Fun Weekend. Details are listed along with out of State Shows at http://roadscholars.webs.com
