Got this in from one of our intrepid readers/reporter on the happenings up at the Winterport Show.
"WONDERFUL day today even after getting of to a late start due to a slack tire! Up the Pike, off at Exit 174 and we were there in about 2 an a quarter hours. Hosts were very gracious. Judged show with two places per class. Judges looked and made sure they looked at every vehicle even if they had to come back later on. Only draw back was there was nobody classing the vehicles as they drove in so there was Mopars not in the Mopar class and Mustangs, Camaros etc., but didn't bother us nor did it seem to anyone else. Food was good and not expensive, drags happening all day long. Met some new folks, some old friends not seen since last year and most of all had a wonderful time and got home dry! ONLY DOWN SIDE - I didn't smell any salt air. Will we go again? ABSOLUTELY, but will leave early enough to stop a time or two on the way - long ride but well worth it - thanks Bobby for the recomendation"
Thanks Deb
