The next time you think of Father's Day, think Car Show. As it has been the norm for way to many years to count the Hodgman's Frozen Custard Car Show held on Father's Day is an Institution.
This Show hosted by the Knucklebuster Motor Club with the help of many other clubs and of course Ken and Joyce Hodgman has over the years developed a following of great Cars and Trucks. Even the lousy weather of years past can not deter the participants from getting to the Show.
The Sponsors that this Show has had over the years is a who's who of Business Owners most of which in some way still support the show and this year is no different with the Wal-Mart of Auburn stepping forward to get the Trophies done and helping with the food. As is a tradition the Money from the Show goes to Charity and this years choice is of course the Children's Miracle Network.
Over the years I have been on that field way to long and many times I was wet from head to toe. The one constant was the smile on my face and at some point during the day, my Dad. The tradition continues as I will be there again, so will my dad.
