Weekend Report

First let just say it was a good weekend for all the events that went off this weekend.

I owe an apology to Cheryl and Stan for not promoting their event more and insinuating that they had "$15.00 Cheap Ass Trophies" that was not my intent. It is an opinion on trophies in general which has been stated here, time and again. Again I am truly sorry for upsetting two great people who have busted their butts to put together some quality events in the past and hopefully in the future.

I have heard great things about the Windham Show both from the winners and those that received nothing but admiration. Good Job Guys.

Fryeburg was a Hotbed of activity with 100 or more Street Rods in Attendance and a relaxing atmosphere of friends and camaraderie. Inspections were plentiful and many unexpected flaws were found and repairs made on site for a safe journey home for all.

Sanford was a reunion of sorts, with some old Drag Race heroes being found on site and a replica of the old tower being built by an area club. Rumor has it this may become the theme of the Sanford Show in the near future with a Reunion atmosphere rather than a Show .

Now as for today, Hodgman's was Hodgman's and the Fathers Day tradition continued. The field was almost full and everybody seemed to be having a great time. The Knucklebusters pulled together an eclectic group on Car Clubs and Enthusiasts to get the crew of participants to their proper places. The new Split Balloting system was complimented by many and seemed to improve the timetable for awards. Big Mike was doing a great Job at the gate Classing cars and should be a fixture in that capacity in the future.

To Team 207, you guys were the best, for parking cars and keeping things straight on the field and asking advice on how to keep it straight. Even the much maligned Road Scholars were an effective group in putting out the little problems before they became large ones. The Uptown Kruizah's as always were there to pick up the slack where ever it was needed. To all, Great Effort and Good Job.

Today, no let's rephrase that, This weekend Was great.

Great Job to the Knucklebusters and all others involved in making this show one of the best so far this year! Also thank you, Frank for your impromptu bouncer action.
GREAT show, good friends (as always), and MINIMAL BULLSHIT!
Other organizations should note how a carshow should be.......
