Names

Everybody has a Name for their vehicle or at least they call it something. I know people who have called the vehicle by an affectionate name or screamed a profane name when they act up.

Some of the more Zen like people actually talk to the thing like its alive with words of praise or endearment. I myself pat the roof from time to time and say "Thank You" after a rather rough day filled with near misses. Shaw's Ridge in 09 was the last of those.

The Names we call our cars and trucks are the more interesting of the 2. We have such names as "The Spirit" from Bob Reed, "Pretty Women"from Tom and Deb. In these cases I'm not sure if it is a reference to the vehicle or a statement about the owner, but in either name they fit both ways.

On the other hand we have a descriptive name like "Purple Passion", which is as desriptive as you can get. Possibly "Rattillac" is more desriptive of the way the paint was applied than the paint itself as "Flatillac" would be a better word when it comes to that. As names go, humor is a good thing, as can be seen in Mike "Smitty" Smith's name for his "Nipple High" coupe as the roof only comes to his nipples.

The picture that is with todays ramble was given to me by"ChopTop", who in fact drives a full on Custom Lead Sled that is a Chop Top.

I'm Kinda hoping the person that built this is a midget or dwarf. If not I hope they call it "Knee Capper" or "Ankle Biter" and not "Skinner" or "Bagger" or worse yet "Nut Sack"
