Milo

Just a little town with 2 main routes of entry, Dover-Foxcroft or Lagrange. I recommend Lagrange and all it curves and smooth 55mph capable highway. Not the downtown Mogadishu Moonscape of craters from Dexter/ Dover-Foxcroft or the cow shit covered roads of the rest of the area.

The Penquis Cruisers are gracious hosts and put on a great time and this year was no exception. Over 200 cars and trucks came to the lot of choice in Milo and had a sun filled day, no rain or even a hint of it for the first time in 3 years that I know of. Music as a backdrop, not in your face senseless prattle and announcements on the hour only.

They auctioned off some local gift certificates, donated new and used auto parts, tools, dozens of whoopie pies and about 15lbs of Homemade Fudge. Talk about tooth decay.

Awards are simple and few with Longest Distance, Hard Luck, Best Project and the Spectators Choice. All of this and a "thank you for coming" as we packed up or "see you next year" as we drove out the gate.

Another good day
