You may want to let everybody that has anything to do with organizing a Car Show that this will apply to them.
The new Sales Tax Laws that are going into effect have a provision that applies to entry fees by both spectator and entrant to all types of shows including our Weekend delights. All entry fees will now be taxed as a sale.
In itself its a pain in the ass, but also keep in mind that many Car Shows are run by clubs that keep everything off the books and have no need for a Tax ID or sellers certificate.
This means that the Clubs that do run off the books and put on a Car Show,will now have to get permits from the state and find accountants etc etc etc.
