Clearing The Air

Evidently the air needs clearing.

So here we go.

2 of the 5 members of the Road Scholars in Attendance entered in Special Interest. They did not participate in any competition in any class including Special Interest. No Numbers could be found on the vehicles to vote for even if you wanted to. As a Majority of the Road Scholars in Attendance did not participate in this demonstration of Free Thinking it can not be constituted as a Club Thing. Of the 2 vehicles that parked out of their respective classes neither interfered with the outcome of the awards. The fact that Mr. Vaughn did not take a trophy was not our fault or problem.

That's One, now again.

I am not now, nor have I ever been a part of some Supposed "Old Boy Network". I have over the past 4 years received 6 trophies with the highest and most recent being a second place in a 2 car class, which I was told to enter by people at the front gate. If I was a part of this "Network" there should be many more than that and a few 1st place ones included.

And Again.

If Bill Vaughn wishes to interpret a definition as it is written or as he wishes to see it then so be it. Common decency would dictate that he should allow others to interpret them the way they see it. This is not what happened on Saturday as my interpretation of the definition of Special Interest was denied and disrespectfully he walked away from me, as though my opinion meant nothing. As told to me by a friend of Mr. Vaughn who also is a friend of mine. " You can't argue with Bill as he always has to be right." This is the closest thing to God's Truth that I have heard in years.

For a web site that professes that no derogatory name calling will be allowed, having the first comment on a posting, calling Myself and a Friend IDIOTS is a phony Statement and a rule he frequently forgets to enforce.

The Road Scholars philosophy of Absolutely No Fucking Bullshit pertains to the politics within the club itself and not the outside world, lets face it if it did pertain to anything in the outside world we would never talk to anybody.
