A tall thin short fat guy with light brown blondish black hair and brown blueish green hazel eyes.
That was what the weather today was kinda like and I loved every minute of it. Why ? Because I was doing what I love to do the most while fully clothed, Drive my car and spend several quality hours with fellow car enthusiasts and good friends.
That is all that mattered today in Dixfield at Western Maine Street Rods, Rod Run and Foliage Cruise. They put on a free lunch of burgers and dogs chips dessert and beverage of a non-adult nature and all they ask is for a donation. Did I mention a Large Dash Plaque is also included.
These guys and girls put on the best time, with no pressure, politics or classes. Camping , Cruises on Saturday and Sunday, Free Lunch on Saturday, Dinner, Dance and Fun on Saturday Evening.
With the count of just under one hundred cars and more pulling in as I was leaving this was going to be a record year for the Western Maine Street Rods and most of you were still hunting the ever elusive $15.00 Cheap Ass Trophy
Lighten Up, This was more than worth the time.

Okay,I took a couple of steps back and regrouped enjoying a great supper of ham, navy beans, fresh carrots, onions and potatoes - as we're not a street rod, we attended a nice little show and yes brought home the elusive ..... won't go further there. Had a great time at Maine Oxy in Auburn. They had a great group of folks making sure that we were happy - AND WE WERE. One gent actually helped me "park crooked" - Mr. C just stood back and grinned as this was AFTER he had me moving this way and that so I/we were straight!! Go figure. Good crowd and no suprises except for the voting - still don't understand that nor the fact that you could register in more than one class (Best of 30's, 40's etc and best Ford, Chevy etc AND best Paint or whatever as long as your paid for each class you entered - kept me guessing and scratching my head) Oh well, congrats to Maine Oxy & Pine Tree - great show - blessed with good weather and a good turn out. We were home by 2pm and off on another adventure. One more outing schedule as long as it doesn't snow as we don't have snow tire for the lady. Long day thanks to a 30 year old alarm clock, that's another story.
