As the winter drags on with all the warmth of a mother in-law, you sit and wonder what to do this weekend. There is Football but even that seems like a dull time as this is a bye week for the Patriots.

You could always hang out at Homer World and get arrested for molesting the PVC Pipe or leave a spittle sample on the window of the local trophy shop window.

Or you could get your depressed self to Bugusta for the Motorsports Show on the 7th thru 9th at the Bugusta Civic Center. Friday, January 7th 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Saturday, January 8th 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Sunday, January 9th 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. It'll cost you $9.00 to get in the door.

Then for those that want that nostalgia stuff, there is the 7th Annual Mid-Winter Hot Rod and Drag Racing Nostalgia Fest in Hudson MA. Here they will tell tall tales of yesteryear and show some great videos of places that no longer exist in drag racing and are remembered by those that actually were there. Held at the Elk's Lodge in Hudson MA from 2 to 7 on the 8th. This one will cost you a dollar more than Bugusta.
