Rain in Drops, Drams and Buckets.
Receiving a Call to watch the radar was as appropriate as asking for a dry towel. It Showed some nastiness in the weather patterns that should have deterred me from adventuring any further than the driveway. The nastiness started at our destination and went clear to New York
I don't deter easily or I just don't take advice well. Off to Rumford it was at which point we decided that having a NSRA Appreciation Day was not the best idea and reworking the schedule was a more attractive concept. We packed up and beat a path to the McDonald's up the street and took it over for the next 3 hours telling tall tales and laughing loud enough to make people wonder what we were doing.
The NSRA Appreciation Day that was attempted today has been put into a rain delay and will be replayed later as an Abbreviated version and will be happening on Thursday June 10th, at the Advance Auto Parts Store in Mexico, Maine. This also happens to be the monthly Cruise Night in the area. My apologies to anyone that was disappointed by our last minute decision.
Now that I've dried out, it still was a good day!
