Well we have miserable weather in the forecast , but that never stopped anybody from supporting a car show or two.
We have the little tiny West Paris Parade and Show with 3 classes on Saturday. As I said before there are not alot of details on this one. But they usually have a BBQ going at the same time, so rain or not you can always eat.
Saturday Night in Biddeford at 5 Points Shopping Center, is the first installment of the Maine Coastal Cruisers Cruise-In's, with enough forethought to establish a rain date for next weekend.
You may want to call ahead on this one as the weather plays a part in this one.
Then on Sunday with the Weather predicting Showers off and on, you have a choice of 2 things going on, with a Show or an Appreciation Day.
We have the 4th Annual Shawnee Peak/ Pleasant Mountain Chapter-MOAL ( Maine Obsolete Auto League) in Bridgton. We all had a great time here last year and it promises to be just as busy and fun this year. It did have a problem with multiple Ballots being given to owners in the past but I have it on good Authority that it will not happen this year. I also understand they are using the Car Show Guide to fall back on when Classing vehicles. Good for them.
Where I will be on Sunday is Rumford. On Route 2 at the Marden's Plaza directly acrossed from Mickey D's for an NSRA Member Appreciation Day being Hosted by the Western Maine Street Rods. Although geared for members of the NSRA it is open to anybody wishing a Free Safety Inspection or Information about the NSRA and all its events. I encourage any and all enthusiast to come to this as it is Free Admission.
Could be fun and damp or just damp.
