Why?

Why does your Computer Crash when you need it. Why do you need to pee just as you are ready to leave. Why is the sky blue, grass green, shit brown and piss yellow. Sometimes you need to ask yourself these things in order to get a true respect for the important questions in life.

I was asked a Question the other day by persons who don't read this rag frequently enough to really get the idea of a different slant on the happenings in our hobby. They represent an aspect of this hobby I actually ignore with great impunity as they cause me mild diarrhea and indigestion whenever I talk with them for more than 10seconds. The question was, "Why do you keep doing the blog, nobody reads it anyway."

So as I write this I'm also doing some research on Google, you know the worlds largest search engine with more references and statistics than we as mere humans could ever imagine.
Google does things and that is constantly change the order of importance of web sites as to the relevance and popularity of the site, as to the determination of your request, so on and so forth.

I did a Google search for this rag and out of 4 searches that were performed this is what I found.

If you punch in Exhaustfumes as one word this rag comes up or came up as 61st of 379,000 sites of the same name or subject. Then again if you used the real name of the site which is Exhaustfume, it came up at this time as 15 of 23,700. Now I'm getting people confused, the title says Exhaust Fumes but the address is Exhaustfume, when I started this that name belonged to a guy from India that hasn't posted in 3 years.

Now if you had forgotten the address and wanted Exhaust Fumes Blog it came in at #2 of 62,200 and again at #2 if you completely smoked your lunch and only remembered Hotrodders in Maine and thats of 13,700.

So through my biased research I have found that more people read this drivel than I expected. That the People that asked me the question are nowing asking for Ketchup for the crow they eat and I can blow my own horn pretty dam good.
