I owe this a redo as it kinda got slammed in an earlier post.
East Auburn Baptist Church is having its First Show on Saturday the 15th. The location is great and food and entertainment is planned. Classes, peer judging, good weather forecast, with great friends. Registration opens at 7 and it will be $5 at the gate. Hope I got that right.
I will not be in attendance due to other commitments about 10 miles up the road.
However if you plan on attending this show, Park Ave. is rough if you come in from the Mount Auburn Ave. end. The Court Street end is much smoother and may be the best way to go.
With any luck this show will be a success. With any luck I can get the dates of the 2 other somewhat nearby events to the Organizer before they set next years date.
I want to go too.

Thanks for the redo, we'll do our best to recommend a different date next year. Sorry, we're not rods so don't keep track of rod runs. Hopre you and yours have a great weekend. The weather is predicted to be wonderful again!! Mr C just might be driving on that day as I might just be driving a rag top!!!
ReplyDeleteI have to tell everyone that they missed a very good time! The classes were just right - the basics so no fear of vehicles being in an inappropriate class - 60's, 70's etc. Yes some classes were large, but not excessively. We had 6 in the 80's - almost the best turn out yet. On top of that the hot dogs (red & brown your choice) were 50 cents - a buck for a burger with or without cheese - 25 cents for a bag of chips and the music was good and varied. Indoor or outdoor restrooms and our hosts were more than gracious. Next year they may move it to next weekend to coincide with the balloon fesitval that means you can go too Frank :-) See ya tomorrow
