Horror Story

Went To R.A.S.H., not have rash, but went to RASH and heard all kinds of stories of past glories and misguided youth.

One story I did hear was direct from the Cars owner. Big Mike is the owner and this is a horror story that no one should have to endure.

Monday night he went to Pikes Oasis in Livermore and as usual was having a Big Mike good time. At some point he went back to his car and found a 3 to 4 inch block of a metallic like substance on his roof. This block of metal had protuding from it, the remnants of steel cables or some type of cable.

This was apparently thrown on his car roof from a distance as it did leave a path of destruction on the paint and roof.

Pikes needs to be aware of this as do all the people that attend the Cruise Night. Put the word out. Big Mike ain't happy. At this point its hard to say if this was aimed at Mike or just happened to be his car that caught it. But it is believed to be no accident in any case.

We display our cars at our own risk but we won't display our cars in a war zone.

If Pikes is trying to get a Cruise Night of distinction going on Monday Nights I don't think this is the Distinction they want.

Hello, I was going to email this, but my computer is acting up!
Unfortunatly, the editor wrote the gist of what happened so I will not re-hash it.
This happened after I went out of my way helping to promote this cruise night, supported this cruisenight by attending (There are 3 more within the same distance of my house)and have been polite to EVERONE who attends it (even some people whom I have bad blood with).
The fact that this cruisenight's organizers cannot assure the participant's vehicles safety, and fact that it is attended by such SCUMBAGS and people who apparently have no problem with this level of scumbaggery, I will no longer waste my time and gas to attend this cruisenight. As for support, well, it's been 3 days and not a word from the management or anyone in attendance as to who the thrower was, so they can FORGET any support from me.
I'm not dissing this area at all, my parents live 2 miles away, but I have never heard of this type of thing happening at any other cruisenight! I know the Rattle Lac ain't much, but it is MINE- Alot of time, some money, and alot of work from some great friends and myself went into it (WITHOUT state aid, might I add)and to see it disrespected in this way is completely un-forgiveable. The damage is minor, and will eventually be fixed, but the thrower is and always will be a douchebag, and that cannot be fixed. Although, I will be glad to make some adjustments, if they want to man-up. Sorry for the rambling, still a little angry!
    Big Mike
