Clunkers for Cash or PELOSISM

In our Nation's Capital there are forces at work trying to cut our supply lines of older late model vehicles we use for parts. Speaker Pelosi has recruited some heavy hitters including Senator Susan Collins and others from Maine to support her endeavors to become the Queen of Green on Capitol Hill.
What they want to do is give out vouchers to some owners if they trade their Clunkers in so it will cut down on Green House gases and cut our dependence on foreign oil. If this did not affect the hobby of hottrodding I wouldn't be bothered. But it does so heres how I see this playing out to the masses and possibly Hollywood.
We have the characters in place, Pelosi can be the Wicked Witch of the West, (fits) Obama can be the Wizard (pay no attention to the man behind the skirt...curtain)Collins can be the head Flying Monkey(doing the bidding of the Witch). See where this could go. All the way to the trash can.
